Turner Hydraulics is excited to announce their partnership with the Carlisle Chamber and SCPA Works in offering 3 intern positions for Summer 2022. This is a 30 hour a week internship for 16-24 year olds requiring the person to work 8 consecutive weeks between May 16 and August 31.

Cylinder Mechanic

• Disassembly of hydraulic cylinders
• Able to use hand tools
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of measuring devices preferred
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Welding/ Fabrication

• Mig and tig welding various materials
• Familiar with torch cutting / plasma cutting
• Ability to use and to read a tape measure
• Stick welding not required but a plus
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

Automation/Electrical Tech

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Good hand eye coordination
• Strong ability to follow directions
• Strong ability to work independently
• Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, squat/crouch, twist, bend grasp, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to use hand tools
• Works safely
